A Bit About Me: Kassandra Lynne
Hi there! I’m Kassandra, though you can call me Kass. I've been a photographer for as long as I can remember, having had a film camera in my hand since I was a kid and exploring the magic of bringing my visions to life in the dark room under the red light.
When I’m not capturing moments through my lens, I’m deeply involved in hosting Rewild Women’s Retreats. As a trauma informed facilitator, founder and CEO of The Rewild Legacy, a not-for-profit organisation, I’m passionate about helping women explore personal development, healing, and meaningful connections through creative and challenging outdoor adventures. This work is incredibly close to my heart. If you’re curious about our wild adventures in Aotearoa, check us out on Facebook or Instagram.
Outside of photography, I’m an archery enthusiast, backcountry adventurer with my scruffy pups and scruffy Dutchman, and an all-around life enthusiast. I thrive on finding joy in the moment and creating spaces for deep, meaningful connections.
I wear many hats: visual storyteller, photographer, nature guide, scuba dive instructor, freediving enthusiast, artist, and intuitive coach. My goal is to help others rediscover their passion and purpose. With a background in movement, mindfulness, and embodiment practices like yoga, breathwork, and guided meditation, I bring a trauma-informed approach to all my offerings including photography.
Specialising in intimate portrait sessions, I create more than just photos—I craft soulful stories. Whether through boudoir or fine art portrait photography, I create a safe space for vulnerability and authentic expression. My sessions are designed to be more than just photo shoots; they are opportunities for deep connection and self-discovery.
Having your photo taken can be a vulnerable experience, often bringing up insecurities and self-doubt. My aim is to make you feel at home in front of the camera, allowing your true self to shine. These moments are significant chapters in our lives, deserving to be captured as true art. Through a full sensory experience, we co-create something sacred, connecting deeply with ourselves and each other. This is the heart of what I strive to teach: to be authentic visual storytellers & all around rad human beings.
Sound like a bit of you? What else do I you need to know?
