This website is operated by Kassandra Lynne. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Kassandra Lynne. Kassandra Lynne offers this website, including all information, tools and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
FOR ALL BOOKINGS THROUGH KASSANDRA LYNNE PHOTOGRAPHY & REWILD RETREATS®
DEPOSIT
After you have received a quote/invoice from us, we require a 25% deposit to confirm your booking and secure your date and/or appointment. If booking is made within 30 days of booking date the balance must be paid in full at time of booking unless prior arrangements have been made. The deposit is non refundable. The balance is due 2 weeks before the booking via bank deposit or preferred payment method. Please note once you have paid your deposit and your booking is confirmed this means that you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
For all portrait & experience bookings there is a non-refundable retainer of $250. For all retreat bookings, there is a non-refundable retainer of 25%.
WEDDING & DESTINATION* DEPOSIT:
We require a 30% deposit to confirm your booking and secure your date. If booking is made within 30 days of your wedding date the balance must be paid in full at time of booking. The deposit is non refundable as the photographer has to hold this date for you and turn away any other business for this day. The balance is due 30 days before the booking via bank deposit or preferred payment method. Please note once you have paid your deposit and your booking is confirmed this means that you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. All terms & conditions apply unless amended as per your wedding photography contract.
PRICING
Pricing is specified on your quote, photography contract, invoice and in the service menu. Pricing is subject to change. If you have already paid your deposit then you retain the rates quoted at the time of booking.
EVENT CANCELLATION
If the client cancels an appointment within 14 working days of their booking a 50% cancellation fee is payable, if the client cancels within 48 hours 100% payment is due.
WEDDING & DESTINATION* CANCELLATION
If a client cancels a wedding/destination* booking within 8 weeks of the booking 100% is payable, cancellations before 8 weeks 50% is payable.
BOOKING DETAILS AND AMENDMENTS
All amendments to bookings can generally be fitted in and we are happy to try our best to work around any changes however we do need these locked in 2 weeks before the event for the timing of your day.
COPYRIGHT & PHOTO SHARING PERMISSIONS
All clients reserve the right to keep their photos private. Kassandra Lynne may only share photos of clients if the client has given express written permission to share images on social media. Specific images to be shared will be sent to the client for approval first. For any exhibitions for photography, Kassandra Lynne Photography obtains Model Release forms signed by the subject / client in any portraits/photos being exhibited.
Kassandra Lynne does not provide RAW images unless requested & agreed upon prior to booking. Kassandra Lynne requests that all images shared by the client not be edited or tampered with.
TRAVEL
Travel charges $.95 per kilometre according to google maps. Please remember to consider this as a return trip.
We are more than happy to take on destination weddings & custom experiences, keeping in mind that all expenses including flights/accom/car rental will need to be covered when required. This will be listed on your quote.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
Events falling on the following public holidays will incur an additional fee of 25% of the total price.
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
- New Years Eve
- New Years Day
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide our services for your booking we will notify you as soon as possible and make every attempt to secure another provider in our place. There will be no monetary compensation for change of photographer. If there is no replacement we will refund you or we can come to agreed upon rescheduled date if this is a possible option.
REFUNDS
Please refer to your invoice, quote and/or contract for specific terms related to your booking.
Services purchased online by you through the Shopify portal continue to be regulated by Kassandra Lynne's conditions of use; privacy policy; cancellation and refund policy.
- Services purchased online are not transferable to other individuals unless previously organised as a gift voucher. Please contact Kassandra directly if you are doing this.
- Refunds will only be provided where required in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. We want you to be a satisfied client so if our service or product is unsatisfactory it may either be replaced or refunded.
- We don’t refund for change of mind, however, we may use our discretion if we believe the services purchased by you, cannot be provided to you for any reason. Always reach out and discuss what's going on so we can work something out.
- Any request for refund by you, for services purchased online through your customer portal, must be made in writing and issued to: hello@kassandralynne.com for our consideration. Kassandra Lynne may decide, upon review of your written request, whether a refund is required.
- Any refunds approved are processed within 30 days.
CREDIT / DISCOUNT CODES / GIFT VOUCHERS:
- Gift vouchers have an expiry date written on them and all credits and discount codes are valid for 2 years.
- No change will be given.
- No replacement Gift vouchers will be given.
- Gift Vouchers and discount codes received at promotional events, competitions or given from influencers are valid for 1 year & are not transferable unless arranged with Kassandra Lynne directly.
PANDEMIC CONDITIONS:
All clients will be able to rebook when restrictions are lifted or you will be credited for your next booking. If Kassandra Lynne catches the virus you will be given a credit for your booking and given the name and numbers of available photographers should you want to or need to continue with your booking.
*Destination - Any bookings outside of the Otago area.
